Upcoming Community Fundraisers
Southlake Health is so fortunate to be supported by caring individuals and organizations who give their time and resources to fundraise for leading edge care, close to home. See below a list of upcoming community fundraisers and get involved today by donating, participating, or hosting your own!
P.A.R.T.Y. Program Fundraiser with Mitchell’s Soup
When: November 1-18
Mitchell’s Soup is partnering with Southlake to support the PARTY (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth) Program.
From November 1–18, order directly through Mitchell’s Soup and a portion of the proceeds will support the PARTY Program, which helps educate youth about the consequences of risky behaviours and encourages informed decisions.
Your support helps the Foundation continue investing in programs that make a difference for patients and communities across our region.
Zach Lockhart Movember Run
When: November 1-30
For the 8th year in a row, Zach Lockhart is growing his moustache throughout November in support of Southlake Health’s Regional Cancer Centre. He’s doing it in honour of his dad, Mark, who received exceptional care at Southlake during his battle with cancer. Zach has raised over $25,000 so far to help relieve the financial burden on families facing cancer and to further cancer research.
This year there’s an added twist: for every $1,000 raised in November, Zach will run 1 km outside in his underwear this winter!
Pefferlaw Lions Club Movember
When: All November
Join Lion Dave Hackenbrook as he grows his moustache this Movember to raise funds and awareness for men’s health issues, including mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
Support Dave’s efforts with a donation and help fund exceptional cancer care close to home. Proceeds from this fundraiser will support Southlake Health’s Regional Cancer Centre.
Save for Southlake
When: Throughout the 2026/27 Hockey Season
Evan, a U13AA goalie, is turning every save into support for the Mental Health Program at Southlake Health. For every save he makes during the regular season, tournaments, and playoffs, $1 will be donated. Family and friends are invited to participate by making a contribution and helping us create an even greater impact.
