Southlake Signature Events are planned by the Foundation along with a dedicated group of volunteers. These fantastic events give us an opportunity to raise needed funds for Southlake while providing event participants with a great entertainment experience. Thanks to our dedicated sponsors, supporters and suppliers, Signature Events at Southlake have raised record-breaking funds towards many Hospital campaigns and programs.

Run or Walk For Southlake (formerly Hartwell Challenge)
An exciting community event, the A & B Courier Run or Walk For Southlake typically attracts about 800 loyal runners and walkers to celebrate the spirit and life of the late Bob Hartwell, a former Aurora Councillor and active member of the community.

The A & B Courier Run or Walk For Southlake has something for everyone including:

10 km run or walk
5 km run or walk
Kids Mini Mile

Festival of Trees for Southlake
The newest Southlake Signature Event is the State Farm Festival of Trees for Southlake. This fun and festive event will take place at, and in partnership with, Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket.

The Festival of Trees will generate funds for Southlake through sponsorship of a tree which will be decorated to reflect a company's image and brand. The trees will be showcased throughout the Mall, providing a beautiful, festive display. The Festival will be actively promoted by Upper Canada Mall and the public will be invited to view the trees and cast a ballot for their favourite tree.

Southlake Partners in Health Golf Tournament
The annual Southlake Partners in Health Golf Tournament provides the opportunity for golfers to come together to share a passion for the links while helping to build a great hospital.

Organized by a group of dedicated volunteers, the Partners in Health Golf Tournament has become known as one of the best golf events in York Region every year.

New in 2012! Southlake Regional Health Centre, the Southlake Foundation and it's Third Party Community Event Organizers present Golf for Southlake, a menu of golf opportunities within the community for those who may not be able to participate in our Partners in Health Golf Tournament but who want to support Southlake.

Southlake Masquerade Ball

The Southlake Masquerade Ball, held every two years, is a spectacular event which attracts almost 1000 community supporters. The Ball features a lavish cocktail reception, gourmet sit-down dinner, silent and live auctions, top entertainment and a live band, as well as many surprises. Most importantly, the event has raised more than $4 million in gross revenue in support of Southlake’s priorities since its inception in 1997.

Attendees include sponsors, community leaders, doctors, hospital management, board members and many individual supporters from our community.

A committee of dedicated volunteers works tirelessly to create this unique signature event every two years. Sponsorship of this prestigious event will allow your company to promote community support and social responsibility while enhancing your profile to an exclusive audience.

Each and every year, hundreds of people in our community volunteer their time and work hard to create financial support for Southlake through community events. These events not only raise money, they raise the profile of the ongoing healthcare needs of our community.
